Philadelphia Irish musician Seamus Egan of the band Solas is only in his early thirties, but he has long been recognized as one of the top Irish flute, guitar, and tenor banjo players anywhere. He is also emerging as an excellent producer of CDs by other performers. This week's program spotlights his many talents.

America's foremost Celtic singing ensemble, Navan, is based in Madison, Wisconsin. With two CDs to their credit, they offer a beautiful blend of three female voices and one male voice, all singing in Celtic languages without accompaniment. Host Bryan Kelso Crow sat in on their rehearsal recently and talked with members about a number of their songs, which we will have the pleasure of hearing in this week's program.
